How to teach Dhamma to judges and civil workers?
I was assigned by the Civil Court Chief Official to teach Dhamma to judges and civil workers once a month starting in January. 2005 (B.E. 2548), and that troubled me because judges usually live in their own world. Everyone would like to dig deep into their thoughts and psyche. I would like to ask for Luang Phaw for suggestions how to teach Dhamma to this group of people.
Will people who ordain gain more merit from their studies during the Buddhist Lent season than ordination at other times.
It is a tradition to have our children ordain for the duration of the Buddhist Lent season so that they can study Buddhism. I would like to know if they gain more merit from their studies during this period than ordination at other times.

History of the Rain Retreat
The Rain Retreat had not existed yet during the initial years of Buddhism. Therefore, throughout any given year, when a monk needs to visit the people in order to teach Dhamma, the journey was made when time permitted.
